The magazine publishes an annual list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., the “Inc. 500,” which was introduced in 1982. The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a four-year period. Darkblade Systems is pleased to announce a prime award on the Navy Seaport-E IDIQ contract. Under this contract, Darkblade will competitively bid for support services across 22 functional areas including engineering, intelligence, program management, prototyping, Research & Development, Test & Evaluation, and many others, in support of Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Darkblade Systems completed the comprehensive Veteran Institute Procurement (VIP) Program, a training and certification program that helps veteran-owned businesses strengthen their ability to win government contracts and do business with the military and civilian agencies they once served in uniform.
On March 12, 2015, Darkblade was one of 49 businesses from 12 states and the District of Columbia to graduate from the National Center for the Veteran Institute for Procurement. The first program of its kind in the nation, VIP is conducted by professional subject-matter specialists in the requirements necessary to win government contracts: law, accounting, insurance, human resources, marketing and proposals. It also provides participants with access to Federal and prime contracting executives in addition to a national network of veteran-owned small businesses that they can team with on business opportunities.
Since its launch in 2009, VIP has helped 446 service-disabled and veteran-owned small businesses grow. A survey of 184 of the program’s graduates determined that 2,018 new jobs were created and the size of their businesses increased by an average of 49% within a year of graduating from the Institute. More than 82% of surveyed graduates credited VIP for equipping them to make solid business decisions and avoid unseen pitfalls. Additionally, veteran-owned businesses are more likely to hire, mentor and train other war veterans as they transition to private life, which is a national priority.

The Department of Veteran Affairs’ (VA) Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) has certified Darkblade Systems as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The CVE evaluates and verifies the ownership and control of SDVOSBs and VOSBs in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74.
Darkblade Systems began providing technical training support for a Department of Defense initiative. Darkblade Subject Matter Experts address emerging threats and incorporate multi-disciplinary and specialized training instruction for enduring training courses having tactical and strategic applications.
Darkblade Subject Matter Experts are providing continued support to the U.S. Army C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) community, supporting technical projects both CONUS and OCONUS. Support includes Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Surveillance (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA), SIGINT, Direction-Finding, and other operational support.
Darkblade Field Service Representatives were selected to provide training and fielding support for robotics systems deployed to U.S. military forces, including at multiple international Combatant Commands. Darkblade is a key subcontractor in support of DOD, U.S. Navy, and Special Operations forces.
Darkblade Systems is supporting a Department of Defense contract to provide Electronic Warfare (EW) technical support for CONUS and OCONUS work. Darkblade Subject Matter Experts support theater requirements on EW engineering, programmatic, operations, and training support.
Darkblade Systems began providing Tagging, Tracking, and Locating (TTL) support for Department of Defense CONUS and OCONUS initiatives. Darkblade personnel provided integration, training, and fielding support to ongoing operations and training efforts.
