Darkblade Systems Joins DOD SkillBridge Program

April 2021

As a trusted employer, Darkblade Systems has been authorized by the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense to work with each of the military Service branches and respective installation commanders to develop SkillBridge training programs for their personnel.

Each year approximately 200,000 members of the U.S. Armed Forces, stationed in over 140 military installations in the U.S. and overseas, will separate from active duty and re-enter the civilian work force or pursue higher education. The DoD SkillBridge program provides them an invaluable opportunity to gain civilian work experience in their final months of service by matching their military training and experience to specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships. SkillBridge can help Service members bridge the gap between the end of service and the beginning of their civilian careers. Any rank can apply!

SkillBridge opportunities complement Tuition Assistance and the GI Bill program nicely to enhance marketability and post-separation career prospects. Separating Service members can be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training full-time with approved industry partners after unit approval. Darkblade Systems offers real-world training and work experience in in-demand fields while evaluating the Service member’s suitability for the work.

Darkblade Systems is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, staffed primarily by Veterans.  We value your expertise, dedication, and service, and are proud to offer SkillBridge opportunities to cleared Service Members within the Intelligence Community.  Consider us for careers in intelligence collection, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, and disruption engineering disciplines!
